3 Notes

About

3 Notes is a collaborative healing and dance project bringing together students and lecturers from the Universities of Peradeniya, Jaffna, and Eastern University. This project includes a series of workshops, performances and symposium with the goal of facilitating dialogue and creative expression among students and faculty from diverse backgrounds.



Over the course of the project, a total of 30 students and faculty members gathered virtually for collaborative workshops and movement exchange.  Students and faculty co-created a collaborative choreography and shared their cultural dance and theater traditions.



In conjunction with the workshops and performances, there was a symposium bringing together scholars, activists, and artists from various fields to discuss sustainable and long term arts based community efforts that will extend beyond the life of this project.
